VERMIN COVERAGE

THEFT COVERAGE WITH NO LOCKS REQUIRED

In the event of theft, we don’t throw any fine print about locks at you or waste time blaming you because your boat wasn’t under 24-hour surveillance. We simply stand behind you and get you back on the water as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, we can’t say the same for most home or cottage policies. With Toysurance, you’ll spend less time padlock shopping and reading fine print and more time on your boat, reading your favorite book.

AGREED VALUE WITH ZERO DEPRECIATION

With our Agreed Value Coverage, if you experience a total loss of your boat, you are covered for the full value of your policy with zero depreciation until your boat is 15 years old.

PERSONAL EFFECTS

We cover any wearing apparel, sports equipment, and personal items brought on board your boat. This is secondary to your homeowners policy but the benefit is there if you need any additional coverage that your homeowners policy lets you down on.

ADDITIONAL EXPENSES

Toysurance will pay the reasonable costs incurred up to $1500 if your vessel is disabled as a result of a claim. Some of these reasonable costs include important things like boat rental costs, rental car or reasonable accommodation expenses if you’re laid up, or any additional living expenses incurred while your vessel is being replaced or repaired.

EMERGENCY TOWING

If your vessel is disabled for any reason, there is coverage up to $5,000 for the cost of being towed to the nearest repair facility, having fuel delivered to you, or the cost of emergency labour performed at the site of disablement.

MARINE ASSIST

The Marine Assistance Program is automatically added to your platinum policy so you can benefit from: • Emergency boat towing referral services • Marine navigation and trip planning information services • Health and legal assistance services • Concierge boating services.

LIABILITY

Our standard liability limit is $3,000,000. This limit is available for all watercraft types.
